The simple bot lets you trade one selected pair automatically. It is the best choice when you want to control bots and their deals in the best possible way.
"Short bot" and "Simple bot" are both simple bots, the first one just automatically choices the short algorithm. All other their settings are identical.
Let's create a simple sample bot. It has all default settings, but please note that it not a recommended setup.
First Simple Bot
Do a click on the "+ Short bot" or "+ Simple bot," the configuration page opens.
We want to trade the ETH_ADA pair, so choose it using the "Pair" list.
Oh, an error comes up! Fix it by setting sizes to 0.01 in both these fields.
As it is not a settings guide, we don't stop on detailed configuration and explanation. You can find more about bots here.
The important thing is to check the "Assistant" block while configuring bots. It helps to monitor the bot funds usage.
If you have the warning there which looks as below, consider adjusting your bot settings.
The bot would work fine with this warning, but when it comes to price moves in an unwanted direction, the system may not handle it as well as it is possible. Please note that the assistant doesn't include your other bots into these calculations, you should manually track all your bots maximum possible funds usage. Otherwise, you could end with failed deals, stuck deals and such bad things.
When you finished configuring the bot, click on the "Create Bot" button in the "Actions" section.
The bot view info page opens after the click. You can check the bot setting, log, history, opened deals and another information there. Also, it has control buttons for the bot. Also, the bot now shows up on the "My Bots" page. Clicking on its name or the "eye" button opens already mentioned info page.
To start the bot, toggle the "working" switch to "on" state. Another option is to click the "Start" button on the info page.
The bot opens a new deal as soon as it gets the signal to do so. Here how the deal could look.
Don't worry if the deal starts in negative, it is a normal situation. The bot could buy coins at the market rate, but the tracking widget uses a price of first buy order from the exchange which usually is lower than the market buy rate.
After the deals finishes, you can find it in the "Completed deals" table on the "My Deals" page.
